So the fairing is reaching completion and with the OP gauge installed, the pressure upon startup is up about 70PSI at idle. After warmup though, drops to about 60PSI at 3,000 RPM; well above the manual's stated value of 43-50PSI at that RPM. But also after warmup, it is a worrisome 5-10PSI at idle. There are no wierd noises and the stock low OP warning lamp is not lit.
A: Could this be everyone's issue with the engine noises that so many are experiencing?
B: Has anyone got one of those direct pressure reading gauges that resides on the motor?
C: If so,can you confirm your pressure under similar circumstances?

So getting back to headlight adjustment
There needs to be a starting point for the headlight itself. If you start with it to high or low it will skew the results. So maybe the headlight being perpendicular to the ground?

I simply aim the low beam so I can get the most distance with the focused beam without (in my judgement) being too high too far down the road.
Not much else to be done, really.

My french Method: ( for light beam set up)

Tbird at 15 feet from a wall.
Bike straight so you need some body on the bike:
1 - keep it outside from the stand
2 - the pilot's weight changes the attitude of the motorcycle. and so the vertical direction of the beam.

Measure from ground the light bulb position. (too cold to go to the Tbird and measure it tonight....)
Let say 32 inches.
Remove 4 inches,
Draw a line on the wall at this distance: 28 inches (32 - 4) from ground.

Align the top of the light beam to this line.

Ok let me put it this way
Say you had a bike with no headlight. What would be your starting point for the headlight?
